HO "New York" style - 2 Track Elevated "Extension" Kit

"New York" style (Solid Girder)- 2 Track Elevated "Extension" Kit in HO scale.  (1 End Beam & 2 support columns to add onto your Starter Kit, or additional Extension Kits).

The solid girder and support columns in this kit represent the New York-style L structure, but can be used in any city setting. Tie sections, walkways and handrails included.

One piece tie strips are ready for your hand-spiked or glued down rail (rail not included, code 83 shown in the photos). Use an NMRA fixture to gauge your rails.

As an alternative to hand laid rail, some modelers use Atlas Flex Track or Micro Engineering Bridge Track on top of our structure.

Add onto a Starter kit or other Extension kits to lengthen your overall Elevated Railway Structure.

HO scale dimensions are 9.5" long x 4.5" wide, 5.25"T  (per section) with 4 & 3/16" underside clearance.

Track spacing is approx. 1 & 3/4" center to center, but can be adjusted slightly as you require.

Constructed of quality MDF and micro plywoods, the resulting structural section is capable of supporting your heaviest models.

The structure is easily coloured with either "rattle can", water / solvent based paints or dry pigment powders.

Note that the model shown was "rattle can" spray painted with a Krylon grey ... quick and easy!.
