HO scale Elevated Railway Station Platform, based upon a New York city prototype, this "corrugated metal" roofed station and arched cantilever support columns add a distinctive big city feel to your "L" system.
A "concrete" deck with handrails sits atop steel girders which carry this station platform along our New York style "solid girder" Elevated Railway Structures.
Optionally this station could be used at ground level by omitting the steel structural girder beams.
The platform measures approx. 9.5"L x 1.5"W. It's 11/16" (or HO scale 5ft.) in height off the Elevated structure.
The cantilevered roof panel measures 1.5"H off the concrete platform and 2"W ... overhanging a train stopped at the platform.
Includes Main Beam Extensions, multiple support brackets and a plank walkway to connect to your Elevated Railway structure ("Starter" or "Extension" sections).
Full colour instructions enable an easy build. All wood construction.
The model shown was brush painted very easily with thinned water base acrylics, clear sealer, and the concrete deck washed with additional thin layers of brown/black acrylics.
